Bergson, Deleuze, and the birth of Movement Image
Cinema, once tied to the mechanical recording of time, evolved through montage, mobile cameras, and shifting perspectives. Instead of simply imitating perception, it opened a way to reveal time itself — what Deleuze calls the movement-image.
